It only took six years for five Louisvillian bandmates to find their sound and move from school talent shows to national recognition. The simplified formula? A dis-banding of a prior project, a persistent local manager and a talented and determined producer who saw plenty of chemistry.

From winning national battle-of-the-bands competitions in Nashville to being hand-selected among 6,000 entries by Nigel Lythgow of FOX networks 'Americas Next Greatest Band', these bluegrass locals have been kicking down doors in an attempt that people would pay attention; finally they received just that.

After the independent release of their first record, Said & Done, Chris Jackson and Tyler Anderson caught the attention of management heavyweight Scott Frazier of Primary Wave Talent Management, whose humble beginning ironically started from Louisville where he still calls home. Frazier had been into the music but had not seen the band live. That all changed when Frazier was asked to attend a sold out concert at The 930 in their hometown. Scott says "I was blown away. It's the first band I've signed from Louisville in 10 years, and they have turned my ear back to this town as a viable scene again.".

Since then, Jason Fields who is also with Primary Wave, has come on board to manage the band alongside Frazier. Frazier and Fields head up the Rock division of Primary Wave Talent Management (12 Stones, Saving Abel, Taddy Porter, Volbeat, Alien Ant Farm, and many others). A management deal in hand the band set out to hone their sound with producer, Neil Degraide (Aranda) and record new music. The band will release their new EP early 2012. With the stars aligning and armed with all the tools necessary, the band will set a course in 2012 to share their refreshing sound with anyone willing to listen.

Sorry, there are no upcoming shows. Please check back often for updates!

So, the last 24 hours have been crazy. We've been to New York and back in a day, and we're both excited and completely exhausted. Why? Well, you will know soon enough.

Here's a teaser: We are teaming up with a great company in a series called 'The Local Scene' that touches on the the craft of music. It's been exciting to be a part of such a cool project in the works.

We left at 6:30AM yesterday morning and landed at Newark around 9:30. We started soundchecking around noon,...

Noon is finished! We're pumped about this song even more now because we've come up with a really exciting video concept for it. Even further, we might get to partner up with some really cool folks to make it happen. More on that later.

This week we are preparing for an acoustic show with our friends in Bridge 19. We are playing Natasha's in Lexington on Friday at 9pm! Be sure to swing by and hang out with us and have some good food. After Friday, we'll be editing a lot of footage for...

Hey guys, it's Tyler!

We're in crunch time with this band. We've been spending so much time writing and recording and playing shows here and there that it's slowing down the release. In some ways, that's great because the final product will be exactly what we envisioned, but the other side of it is bad efficiency. We need to learn to move faster, after all you guys are waiting on us to put this music out and start playing.

As of recently we've been talking with all sorts of...
